Long Surf Weekend in Spain!

There are few things sweeter than heading into the surf on a Monday morning while the rest of the world heads to the office!

Join us in 2009 when we escape to Northern Spain for long weekends of surf and sun!

We will be staying in the small village of Loredo on the Cantabrian coast in a fantastic villa just 400m from the beach.

Here the warm prevailing winds, consistent Atlantic swells and depth of the Bay of Biscay combine to produce quality surf conditions all year around.

The main beach of Somo, over 3 miles long, produces perfect beach break waves suitable for all abilities and working at all tides. For more experienced surfers a perfect right-hand point break peels along the small offshore island of Santa Marina.

Our surf tuition and guiding is provided by Damien and his team. They know the local breaks inside out and will ensure that everyone maximises their surfing time!

You can choose to include daily surf school with your weekend or opt for private 1-2-1 lessons or a days surf guiding. If you are not sure what is best for you then drop us a line and we will be pleased to advise.

Back at the villa we can enjoy a chilled out home from home. Relax in the bar or lounge area, watch a dvd, play table football, book in for a yoga session with Betty, or just hang with your fellow surfers.. All rooms are en-suite with colour TVs and ipod stations.

This trip is ideal for beginners, intermediate or experienced surfers. Come on your own, with your partner or with your friends!

Our long weekends in Spain include:

- Return airport transfers from Santander Airport
- 3 or 4 nights accommodation in surf villa
- Breakfasts every day
- Lunches every day
- Delicious evening meals every day except Saturday night (an opportunity to explore local restaurants in the village or Santander)
- Optional surf coaching every morning

With surf school:
3 night stay: £269 (Book now for Early Bird price of £239!)
4 night stay: £299 (Book now for early bird price £259!)

Without surf school:
3 nights stay: £210
4 nights stay: £250

Private 2 hr surf lesson (ideal for intermediate surfers looking to take their surfing to the next level): £65
(inc board and wetsuit rental if required).

Yoga sessions: 15 Euros per person per session.

Surf Guiding: £30 per person per day

Some other useful information:

Flights:
We do not book your flights but we will recommend specific flights to Santander airport for you to purchase - currently £24 return with Ryan Air including taxes! The free airport transfer we provide is to/from Santander but if you are flying or catching the ferry to Bilbao just let us know and will advise on taxi or bus transfers.

EU nationals, Canadian, Australian and US citizens do not require a visa to visit Spain for stays of up to 90 days. If you hold a passport from another country please check the requirements.

Boards and Wetsuits

Boards and wetsuits are provided free of charge with all surf coaching sessions and you are able to keep using the equipment outside of the lessons.

If you are not taking surf tuition and are not bringing your own gear there are a variety of boards and wetsuits available for hire, if you know what type of board you will require please let us know in advance.
