This is the one you may not have heard of and its a really fun way to enjoy the spectacular Cornish coastline. Our Coasteering mission will take you around cliffs, smugglers caves and some of Newquay's more secretive beaches. You're guaranteed a real buzz as you traverse around narrow ledges and, if you want a real rush, leap from the cliffs into the sea glistening far below.

You will see plenty of marine and bird life and may see dolphins or seals or even a basking shark!

Your Coasteering mission starts and ends at the Coastline Coasteer Centre 100 yards from Fistral beach. There will be at least two instructors with you throughout the experience, showing you the best spots and ensuring that you are enjoying yourself in a safe environment! Sessions last between two and three hours and you'll be fully equipped with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and wetsuit boots.

Coasteering is available on any Big Friday weekend or course in Cornwall (subject to conditions). It is a really great activity for groups of friends or corporate groups, why not combine a Coasteering session with your surf lesson(s) for a varied weekend of adrenaline filled ocean activities!

Price: £40 per person including equipment (enquire with us about group discounts).

You will need to bring:
Swimwear, sun block, towel and some old trainers to wear.

A usual Coasteering session goes something like this:
- Welcome introduction and safety talk from your instructor including getting kitted up with your wetsuit, bouyancy aid and helmet.
- Head to the cliff start point
- Coasteer, traversing the coast, investigating caves, swimming through tidal pools, leaping in to plunge pools, checking out the marine life.
- Reach the final destination of the traverse, return to the centre, get changed and check out the photos from your mission!
