What could be better after a day in the waves than a specially designed surfers massage in the luxurious surroundings of a five star spa, then watching the sun set across the ocean from your room or over a cocktail (or beer) in the bar? You can do all of this with Big Friday’s Surf & Spa weekends.

Fistral Spa, set at the peaceful Southern end of the UK’s most famous surfing beach boasts nine treatment rooms, a relaxation room, deck-level indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and state-of-the-art Life Fitness gymnasium.

Surfers staying at the hotel with Big Friday will receive complementary weekend membership with use of all the facilities and special discounts on treatments and massages.

The surfer’s massage is the perfect treatment for anyone suffering aches, pains and tension brought on by a hard days surf. The therapist starts with a deeply relaxing back massage to ease muscle tension in the shoulders, neck and upper arms and follows this with an ESPA foot treatment including exfoliation and deep massage using essential oils to warm and soothe tired legs followed by an application of pink hair and scalp mud to smooth and nourish the feet. Wow! Don’t you deserve that?

With the beach right in front of the hotel you can check the waves and surf before breakfast. If you are just starting out or looking to improve we offer surf tuition for all abilities in group or private sessions. Girls can also combine our Surf and Spa Weekend with our special Surf Diva (Girls Only) surf tuition.


Prices start at just £25 for a half day or £45 for 2 half days of surf tuition, including board and wetsuit rental. Our surf school is right next to the beach with secure locker rooms and showers. Private and fast track lessons for intermediates are also available just let us know what you need when you book.

We recommend our Surf and Spa Weekend as a great option for groups - either for corporate 'Board Meetings' or for a stylish and relaxed surfy stag or hen weekend.

 

Our Surf and Spa Weekends include:

- 2 nights bed and breakfast accommodation in the spa hotel right by the beach.
- Return travel from London on the Big Friday Biodiesel Surf Bus.
- Complementary weekend membership of the hotel spa.
- Special Spa treatment and massage discounts.
- Welcome cocktail, beers or soft drinks on arrival Friday evening.
- Table booking at great restaurant (Sat night).

Surf Spa Weekends, including all of the above,
are £199 in July and August, £190 in September and £180 in October. (please let us know if you don't need transport)

The Surf Bus departs from Hammersmith at 5.45pm on Friday and gets back on Sunday evening in plenty of time to catch trains, tubes and buses. We have lots of space for boards - long & short!
