Our Surf Sistas Weekends in Cornwall offer the perfect mix of adrenaline, relaxation and pampering! Come on your own or with friends, and learn to surf in a safe and friendly environment with our Surfing GB (formerly BSA) qualified coaches. When you are not in the waves you can stretch out in our special surf sistas Yoga class, relax in the hotel spa, explore the stunning beach on your doorstep, hang out in the good company of your fellow Surf Sistas and enjoy your own special Oakley Surf Sistas Goody bag!

Summer 2011 Weekends: June (24-26), July (15-17), August (19-21), September (23-25)

Surfing
Each morning you will be learning to surf with top Surfing GB qualified instructors in our girls only sessions - your tuition includes the rental of a surfboard and wetsuit. The surf school is situated just a 2 minute stroll from the hotel also right by the beach and there are on-site lockers and hot showers.

Surf Sistas weekends are a great opportunity to learn to surf or improve your surfing in a relaxed fun environment with other like-minded girls.. no pressure!

Sleeping
We will be staying in a lovely 4 star spa hotel at the quieter South end of Fistral beach in Newquay, which means less crowded waves and the more peaceful surroundings of the Pentire peninsula.

Throughout the weekend you will have free access to the luxury Espa Spa with it's infinity style pool, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi to ease away any post-surf aches. You can can also book spa treatments and massages.

Yoga
Each Surf Sistas Weekend includes either a pre or a post surf Yoga session. Pre-surf Yoga is a powerful session focusing on standing postures to develop a strong stance and improve balance as well as looking at upper body strength and arm balances. Post-surf Yoga aims to stretch out and release tension as well as work the opposing muscles used in your surf session to ensure muscle balance.

Apres Surf
At the hotel we can enjoy the cocktail bar overlooking the waves and at South Fistral we are close enough to also enjoy Newquay's famous nightlife.

We book a table at a great restaurant in Newquay for Saturday night, giving everyone the option to eat together with the Surf Sistas crew and reflect on a hard days surf!

Getting there
Our Surf Bus departs from Hammersmith at 5.45pm on Friday and gets back on Sunday evening in plenty of time to catch trains, tubes and buses. We have lots of space for boards if you are bringing your own.

We have magazines, stereo and DVD player on board and we run on biodiesel so we can all surf with the knowledge that we are helping to protect the beautiful countryside that we enjoy!

Oakley on board
We are stoked to announce that Oakley are back on board as our Big Friday and Surf Sistas sponsor for 2011! Oakley are one of the world’s leading women’s surf brands. They support some of the top international female surf pros with our favourite surf gear and the most technologically advanced eyewear available. Each Surf Sista receives their own Oakley Surf Tote bag with Oakley surf apparel inside. We also have some fabulous Oakley Eyewear to give away as prizes .. some added incentive to catch those waves!

Surf Sistas Cornwall weekends include:
- An amazing Oakley goody bag
- 2 nights bed and breakfast accommodation in a spa hotel right by the beach.
- Return travel from London on the Big Friday Biodiesel Surf Bus.
- Complementary weekend membership of the hotel spa.
- Two half days of surf tuition. (includes board and wetsuit rental)
