Girls Surf Cornwall with Oakley

We are headed to Cornwall every month this summer for our special Girls Surf Weekends with Oakley, and we think we have found the perfect mix of adrenaline, relaxation and pampering!

Summer 2008 Weekends: June (13-15), July (4-6), August (15-17), September (12-14), October (3-5)

Surfing
Each morning you will be learning to surf with top BSA qualified instructors in girls only sessions - your tuition includes the rental of a surfboard and wetsuit. The surf school is situated just a 2 minute stroll from the hotel also right by the beach and there are on-site lockers and hot showers.

This tuition course is suitable for beginner to intermediate level. These weekends are a great opportunity to learn to surf or improve your surfing in a relaxed fun environment with other like-minded girls.. no pressure!

Sleeping
We will be staying in a lovely spa hotel at the quieter South end of Fistral beach in Newquay, which means less crowded waves and the more peaceful surroundings of the Pentire peninsula.

Throughout the weekend you will have free access to the luxury Espa Spa with it's infinity style pool, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi to ease away any post-surf aches. Big Friday guests are also entitled to special discounts on spa massages and treatments.

Yoga and Surf Fitness
Each Girls Surf Weekend includes either a yoga or surf fitness session with Mara Blackburn. A great way to build those essential surfing muscles before some well deserved relaxation!

Apres Surf
At the hotel we can enjoy the cocktail bar overlooking the waves and at South Fistral we are close enough to also enjoy Newquay's famous nightlife. We book a table at a great restaurant in Newquay for Saturday night, giving everyone the option to eat together and post-mortem the days surf!

Getting there
Our Surf Bus departs from Hammersmith at 5.45pm on Friday and gets back on Sunday evening in plenty of time to catch trains, tubes and buses. We have lots of space for boards - long & short!

We have cushions, magazines, stereo and DVD player on board and we run on biodiesel so we can all surf with the knowledge that we are helping to protect the beautiful countryside that we enjoy!

Oakley on board
We are stoked to announce that Oakley are back on board with us for 2008! Oakley are one of the world’s leading women’s surf brands. They support some of the top international female surf pros with our favourite surf gear and the most technologically advanced eyewear available!

Each Cornwall Girls Surf Weekend includes:
- A fabulous Oakley goody bag
- 2 nights bed and breakfast accommodation in a spa hotel right by the beach.
- Return travel from London on the Big Friday Biodiesel Surf Bus.
- Complementary weekend membership of the hotel spa.
- 10% discount on spa treatments and massages (between 1.30 - 4.30pm on Sunday)
- Two half days of surf tuition. (includes board and wetsuit rental)
- Taster yoga for surfing session or beach surf fitness
- Welcome cocktail, beers or soft drinks on arrival Friday evening.
- Table booking at great restaurant (Sat night).

Girls Surf Weekends, including all of the above,
are £245 in June and July, £255 in August and September, £245 in October (please let us know if you don't need transport or tuition)

Optional Extras include:
- Spa treatments and massages
- Additional afternoon surf tuition
- Other activities eg. coasteering, mountain
